We sure have been seeing some of our musical heroes as of late. Another awesome show at the Paramount Theatre, this time
Morrissey came out swinging with opening number
"This Charming Man" made famous by his former band, The Smiths. We had great seats and thought his band did an amazing job, especially the new keyboardist/guitarist/accordionist. Morrissey, nominated as one of the
great recorded voices of the 20th Century by NPR, was strong as ever. Opening group
Doll & the Kicks, straight out of England and playing their first ever US show, were really fun, with a very 80s pop sound and lead singer who shows tremendous promise.
